Thrive™ — streaming-first mastering
with spec validation

Thrive is a mastering plugin built around a single question: how will this master land on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Netflix, or broadcast? Pick your target — fourteen platform presets, including broadcast standards and reference targets for CD and vinyl workflows — and the plugin measures your master against each one in real time, with red/green status pills for integrated LUFS, true peak, and dynamic range.

Beyond metering, Thrive ships a full mastering chain: 6-band parametric and dynamic EQ, compressor, stereo width, brickwall limiter, and a delivery stage with dither and true-peak detection. Plus a codec preview — listen to your master through DSP approximations of AAC, MP3, and Opus before you hand off.

Why We Built This

The mastering chain hasn't kept up
with how music is delivered.

We started Thrive Mastering to make those rules visible — and those damages predictable.

01

Streaming platforms normalize loudness — and each does it differently.

Spotify targets -14 LUFS by default. Apple Music targets -16 with Sound Check. YouTube -14. Tidal -14. Broadcast targets are stricter — EBU R128 at -23 LUFS, ATSC A/85 at -24 LKFS. Every platform behaves differently for quiet vs. loud masters, and most let listeners disable normalization entirely. Mastering without knowing what each destination will do means shipping something you can't predict. Thrive shows you where you are against fourteen targets in real time, with notes on how each platform actually handles it.

02

Codecs change your master.

AAC, MP3, and Opus each alter the audio in ways that are broadly predictable but not always obvious in the reference render. Thrive previews these changes using DSP approximations of each codec, and offers codec-aware EQ moves to counter the damage zones each codec is known to expose — before delivery, not after.

03

Visibility beats guesswork.

Most mastering tools assume the engineer can intuit what each platform will do. Thrive doesn't ask you to intuit — it shows you. Live measurements against target, at-a-glance status indicators, a one-click Auto-Spec suggestion to get in the neighborhood of the target, and full transparency about how each platform actually handles the master you deliver.
